Well if so, keep reading for some small pieces of advice from us here at Valkyrie models 😀

Becoming a model doesn’t have to be as hard as you think it is. A lot of people actually accidently get into it!
It doesn’t matter if you have no confidence; you’re shy or hate seeing yourself on camera. Modelling is actually a way to help you gain all the confidence you may need.

Here’s some advice to help you out…

1. If you’re an absolute beginner in modelling, you could either ask someone you know to start getting some incredible shots of you for your Insta or pay one or two professional photographers and get that portfolio amazing from day one!
2. Look out for casting calls on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter. Brands and hair companies are always in need of new faces to represent their brand. Some of the time, a model may not need experience and they will help you on the photo-shoot.
3. Hash tag and tag your photos with agency’s usernames and specific scouting hash tags! #scoutmevalkyrie is a good one to start you off 😉 Being scouted through natural photos of yourself or portfolio work is an amazing way to start your career in modelling and you should feel very proud of yourself if you manage to be scouted through a social platform.

As a model, you will have to look after your self. So staying clean and groomed will help you get far for sure. You will most likely need good skin, nails, teeth and hair to become a model. So make sure you’re willing to look after yourself before committing to a modelling career.

We will attach some photos of what casting professionals/agencies would like to see from you when you apply. They don’t have to be anything special. They could literally be taken in your bedroom with nice natural lighting.
